every time im in middle of somehting important.. GVG, or HOH..what happens... I ERROR 7!!, my internet shuts off, like the dsl lite goes off, is this problems wit my isp? or gw is messin it up, i noticed my dsl goes off sometimes too when my sister from long distance calls here, haaalp me

NetErr=7 indicates loss of network connectivity. If your DSL modem light shuts off when you notice the error, then it's something related to your DSL or ISP side. Might even be signal or wiring related... either way, call your ISP and check for any local issues or outages. If none is found, then they'll have to send out a tech to check out your set-up or wiring.

My internet has been strange shutting off on the modem the D/S light keeps flashing and it's not ment to only when there is activity.

Most DSL or Cable modems have at least 3 lights: power, connectivity, and link-activity. If the connectivity light goes out, then you won't see much flashing on the link activity light.

mine has, power,ethernet,dsl,usb,and a flashing activity -- i know when i lose connection cause the dsl light goes off
